Depression Era Table

This table came from The Star Store -Family Owned , Located In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The table was a working display table for merchandise. The owner shared stories about displays she created using remnant materials to attract customers who had little money to spare.
When the owners decided the table served its purpose, It went into the family home. In 1964, The family moved to Wilmington, Delaware and the table found a home there. The table was used for family projects, standing up the use of five children.
In 1978, This family moved to Jackson, MI. The Father of the family reconditioned the table, stripping and painting it. The table was flipped over. The scars from over 100 years of service are are still visible on the underside of the tabletop as a testament of service.
